History
Since 2005 we have designed and produced bags intended to accompany everyday life.
Bolso Paseo was born from the story of Urs and Anja, who return to Costa Rica from Switzerland year after year, drawn by its rhythm, its people, and its way of life. It was on these trips that the idea arose to create a brand that united design, craftsmanship, and respect for the environment.
Since then, we have exported our products to Switzerland, where they have been sold at fairs and artisan shops. Since 2010, we have been based in San José, working closely with local artisans. We support their growth by financing the necessary machinery and equipment, thus creating a relationship based on trust, collaboration, and mutual support.
Our leather is locally produced by suppliers committed to responsible practices and environmental stewardship. The hardware is imported from Italy and the cotton fabric from the United States, carefully selected to ensure quality and durability in every detail.
The animals—primarily Zebu cattle—live outdoors, which gives rise to the unique textures of the leather. Every mark, every scratch, and sometimes even the ranch brands, tells a unique story.
